Measurements are taken with tee lying flat on the ground.

Width is the measurement of  tee from armpit to armpit.
Length is the measurement from the highest point of the neck to the bottom of tee.

The best way to get a good fit is to measure one of your favourite t-shirts, that you already know fits you well.
